A Review...of the best/cheap drinks and eats!!!

The Top 5 places and things to eat/drink that are cheap in the Moraga, Lafayette area!!!

1) Burger King- Yes it is fast food but its cheap and sometimes its exactly what you need.
-My personal favorite for the cheap eater is the Spicy Chicken Crisp, its a $1 and is so freaking good.
- If you dont like chicken then also decent on the dollar menu is the Whopper Jr. It at least has salad, pickles and fresh tasting tamatoes...Worth it if your craving a little Beef...

2) Taco Bell- Sometimes you need a little cheap mexican.
- Now rarely will I eat here but when I do there is only one thing to get. Its both cheap and delicious! The 5-layer beefy bean burrito! So juicy and hot! The cheese and bean and beef all melt together so prefectly that all you can do is moan. Definetely fattening but Its only $1.59 and so worht it!
- If you'v got a little more cash to spend, for $2.59 you can get teh crunchwrap supreme. However make sure this is made fresh or the taco inside becomes soggy and not as good.

3) Asia Palace- a little more expensive but oh so delicious.
- There chicken Chowmein is so good it makes my mouth water just thinking about it and at $8 a portion that feeds 3 easily it is a very good deal.
- but relistically everything here is amazing and the serice is to die for. The way they gift you with free organic products is friendly, and makes you want to keep coming back.
* a tip: show up a little before closing and you might jsut get some free sushi or potstickers with your order along with your free organic fruit and candy airheads!

4)Jamba Juice- hits the spot.
- sometimes you just need a little fruit in your diet and Jamba Juice fits your needs perfectly. They have a size 16 cup for only $3.95 and their flavors are amazing. Like it a little sour, pick up their new lemonade strawberry, like it sweet, try their peachy peach. Old favorite try their mangoagogo or their rassberyyrazz. All are amazing. Oh and ps, their new bread choises arent bad either.

5) La Boulevange- forget about starbucks!
- for less than the price of a venti or even a grandde, you can get twice the amount of hot drink at the La Boulebange. It is the perfect place to come sit and enjoy a relaxing coffee. The way they serve their drinks in bowls is oh so French and cute and makes the whole breakfast experiance that much more fun.
- feeling hungry try out any of their many pastries! One after another is amazing! And to make it even better add a little of their homemade fresh presserves, rasbery, apricot and more!!!

stay out of it

Sometimes wish people would just butt out! No one asked you to interfere or try to work you 'magic' and hook us up, so why do you feel the need to! Dont gget me wrong I do it to, but if some one asks me to stay out or tells me there not interested I stop! Yet there are people who just dont get this concept. Or even better try to show how the item of your attraction is really theres! The call him their friend and talk about how they've known him forever and are going through similar things. Who fucking cares! I dont care bout your history, hell I just think he's cute. And you butting in and trying to warn me off him when ur a hypacritical bitch whose in a supposed relationship but macks on other guys all the time, have no right to step in my business! God Damn, sometimes I wish people would just disapeare. But then how would I pay the ....

Bed Sheets: Conceit

In literature, a conceit is an extended metaphor with a complex logic that governs a poetic passage or entire poem. By juxtaposing, usurping and manipulating images and ideas in surprising ways, a conceit invites the reader into a more sophisticated understanding of an object of comparison....

Single white bed sheets,
stained red,
odors causing nausea,
down cover no longer needed,
gray hair on the pillow,
left the bed sheets crumpled,
and unmade.

No longer warm,
still and unused,
bed sheets that cradled sweat dreams
and harbored nightmares.

No longer able to dream,
holding their owner til darkness recedes,
and the darkness with the white gloves,
gray face mask and red cross arrives.

Animals

The animals are sleeping
they dream of politics and sex
of their mother in the hospital
of their son constant struggle with drugs
the cold smile of truth and guilt.

The animals are talking
they whisper and snicker
gossiping about who did what and who did who
lips spill poisons,
bile and vile drops of blood.

The animals are working
hardly moving at all
they watch to see whose watching them
working only the amount needed to get by
hating those who are striving to reach gold
tears and sweat poring from their brows.

The animals are sinning
they are slothful
wrathful, greedy, and envious
using lust to get ahead and satisfying their basic urges
their eyes glitter with the gold of desire
avarice has taken hold
and the food they stuff into mouths overflows
not hunger but gluttony rules their minds.

The animals are here
they rule the world
destroying habitats and nature
taking, taking, taking
and forgetting
to give back.

The Animals are here.
They are Man.

Inspiration

Timeless nature,
shrieks loudly,
against time.

Begging for answers,
wishing for truth,
hoping for light.

Every ticking screams stop,
a winding hand moving,
closing down on life.

A sobbing sound
grows steadily,
the dream is the truth,
they act and live.

Six little children,
grow into adults,
hardened to the world of imagination,
lost without joy,
they die slowly.

Quiet

Questions zoom around my head,
Unknown answers waiting to be discovered,
Ignored by many,
Easily staying still,
Teaching me patience...

Hidden

Red rose dripping
Like painted trees rustling
Working in a gray field of dust
Mask covered in blood
Dreams scattered to the winds
Lost in the darkness
Washed into the gutter with the rain.

Eating candy stolen from a baby
Acid destroying the white enamel of your mouth
Lips chapped, split, spitting blood
Make flies dance gaily around the head
Waiting patiently for their chance
To call what’s left their own
To claim the remains.

Sun shining on all the chains
Clinking away in the abyss
Locked away.

No one can hear the screams
Silenced by the ticking clock
That shushes their cries for salvation
Snatching away their last ray of hope
Muffling their sobbing breath,
Till nothing is left.

Fall comes and goes
Trees bloom and wither
A sapling grows into the sky
A stream becomes, a creek becomes,
Nothing but a trickle.

Death has come and gone
Sheltered in the passage of time.
A young boy stumbles upon a door
Placed in the ground
Like a mouth waiting to open
Holding secrets of terror and decay.

He struggles with the weight
The door that seems stuck
Swings ajar
Like a scream
The smell of hate and fear fills the air
Loathing permeates, like deadly toxic gas it fills the boy’s lungs.

Sneaking a look into the darkness
A single gleam of ivory
Captures the sunlight
They have been found.
